Fireman Sam

For my North American readers, Fireman Sam is a children's cartoon character in Britain.
Let's just say, mummy couldn't resist.

Funky Fruit, Funny Face

Here are 2 random pics.
The first is of me sampling watermelon for the first time.

And this one is me looking guilty for some reason. Who me?

Trans-Atlantic Dinner

Because my Gran lives 3000 miles away I don't get to see her in real life too often...so the other night we had dinner together by Skype. I think this idea could really take off!

Uncle Dev

A couple of weeks ago Aunty Heather and Uncle Dev came across and I got to spend some time with my cool uncle. We had a blast as I'm sure you can tell. Uncle Dev even wore me like a Sam-hat!

What's Dada doing?

The other day I spotted Dada in the garden pushing a really loud thing and walking up and down and up and down.... Mummy told me one day that would be my job. I wonder what she means by that? Anyway, the whole thing was absolutely fascinating.

Boys time

Dada spends a lot of time at a place called "work" but I love it when he is home and we get to hang out together.

Sometimes we play.

Sometimes we snuggle.

Mummy's helper

Now that I am getting to be such a big boy I decided it's time to start "helping" mummy with some chores around the house. I know she really appreciates it!

So much to do...

Whether I'm playing with my Barney ball...

or looking at my books....

or clapping my hands...

or even eating a red string...

I'm committed to having fun!!

Tupper-ware Every-where!

The other day I discovered that the doors in the kitchen actually open and there's all kinds of interesting stuff inside. Of course, I have to check it all out for myself in typical Sam-style!

Just because I'm cute!

Like my curls?

Do you think I'm a cutie-pie?

Just call me Sam-a-lam!!

Good Morning Sunshine!

I'm always so happy to see mummy and daddy first thing after my BIG sleep! They think it's one of the sweetest sights ever!

Busy Boy

We have been home for a few weeks now and I have gotten VERY busy indeed! I crawl all over the place and get into EVERYTHING! Mummy and Dada say this word NO a lot! I think I'm going to pretend I don't know what it means for as long as possible. Life is so much more fascinating when you are on the move.

Now how does this thing work?

Mummy and Dada came into my room after my nap and this is what they saw. It is now my favourite thing to do!! (anytime and anywhere) Mummy needs eyes in the back of her head these days!

One hot afternoon I got to play in my paddling pool. Very refreshing and my super hat from Nonnie keeps the sun off my wee head. Fantastic!!

A week in Scotland

We also went to Scotland for a wee visit with Gran and Granpa George! They are coming to visit us in Canada really soon. I can't wait to see them again. We had lots of fun together!

I think they were pretty pleased to see me. They always seemed to smile when I was around!

Granpa George is really fun and he makes me laugh!

One day we went for a drive to North Berwick, the town where mummy went to school. As you can see we needed our coats and umbrellas because it was raining...again!

Across the road from Gran and Granpa's house was a little park. I had fun playing on the swings with Gran.

Mummy took me on the slide but I think secretly she just wanted to have a turn!

And as usual I took every opportunity to get as many cuddles as I could.

Fun in Ireland

As well as meeting lots of new people I also got to do a lot of really fun stuff while I was on holiday. We spent 2 weeks in Ireland with Nonnie and Papi. Even though the weather was pretty rubbish I still managed to keep myself amused. Here are just a few of the things I got up to!

I played with this really cool toy in the garden centre tea shop. I was a pro once Tabitha showed me how it was done!

I watched some John Macarthur on the TV. (Dada was very impressed!)

My cousins and I made a very special picture for our Nonnie and Papi's 40th wedding anniversary. It has all our hand and footprints on it! At first I wasn't too sure about my artistic ability but I got the hang of it eventually. Messy but fun!!

It was great getting to know Papi better. We had lots of fun together!

My Nonnie just loves animals and she made friends with this pheasant. Look how close he lets her get!!

Here he is up close. We decided to call him Fezzie!!

And of course during my visit I had lots of baths!! Here I am after splashing around one night.

Dada's Friends

I even got to meet 2 of Dad's good friends that he has known even longer than he has known mummy...wow! We seemed to get along just great.

Here is Mr. Donald.

And this is Mr. Geoff.
