Look what happened all on it's own!

We cleaned up that little patch in front of the front door last Autumn and were intending to plant stuff there this Spring, but look what was there hidden all along! Daffies! Beautiful! Amazing how they survived the 4 foot heap of snow that was on top of them due to drifting!

And here we are!

Yup, one of those where you put the camera out in front of you and hope you're in the middle of the frame shots! Despite it being quite sunny, it was still a wee bitty cold! But we were away for the weekend, so we were going to have a fun relaxing time, no matter what!

We drove on further!

We drove up to East Point and took a look at the Lighthouse (lovely)! Saw Cape Breton in the distance. Then we doubled back to Basin Head Beach, home of the singing sands...more like a squeek under your feet! We hope to come back when the facilities are open in the summer!

Then we went on a wee drive!!!

We went on a wee drive out towards East point along Rt.2. It was beautiful! Saw a couple of interesting signs, and a lovely Celtic Cross at a French-Scottish early settlers to PEI grave yard! Had to take a pic!

More pics of the B&B!

Check out a few more pics of the inside of the room we had! It was one that the former Premier of PEI had! I think I may have forgotten something with regards to the bath! :o)

More pics of our weekend away!

Here are a number of pics! Have to up load them a couple at a time! Enjoy! It really was a beautiful place!

Spot the Bump! (Week 17)

Ain't they (she & the bump) beautiful !!!!

A Saturday Afternoon Drive ...

Jenn and I decided to go for a wee Saturday afternoon drive around one of PEI's National Parks near Cavendish. I think you'll agree that even though it's SUPPOSED to be Springtime, it's still beautiful! :o)

It's Spring!!

On Easter Sunday morning we woke up to a howling blizzard. Church services were cancelled and we we spent the day hunkered down inside. After all was said and done we had 37cm of snow and some pretty impressive drifts (including a 2ft. one right outside our front door.) It's spring but definitely NOT as we know it...
