Papa George was right! Look!
When Gran Marie and Papa George were over staying with us they thought we might have a crack in our foundation wall in the basement ... at least that's what Dad said. Well, a nice man called Kerry came around and ripped of the panelling. He made a real mess, but look what he found!

Also the pics of NBBI - WOW. I can't believe how different it looks!
We have to get the crack filled with resin and then I think we're going to rip off all the panelling downstairs and replace it with dry-wall. Some of the floorboards and the carpet will also need replaced. A big job but the basement will look a lot better when it's done. What a mess in the meantime!
Will you guys have to dig up the ground outside down to the bottom of the wall and seal the crack from the outside as well? I always thought that was the way it was done...at least that's the way I've seen it done on the handy man shows ;)
